5 micron vs 10 micron filter

Five stage RO/DI ?
Which is beter in the first stage a 5 micron or 10 micron sediment filter.
Any opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

five is better but will clog up twice as fast as a ten. I have a 5 micron in my first can and a 1 micron in the second just to clean it a little more

Agree with Sign guy.....I run mine the same way.....

So instead of having 2 stages of carbon you run 2 sediment filters? Never thought about doing that.

Thanks for the replys, the only difference I see in the 2 units I'm comparing is the micron filters this has helped me make up mind.

The micron filters are interchangable. You just buy the different refill the next time.
