5 tangs in a 10 gallon

i just set up my 20 long 4 days ago. i got a red mushroom hitchhiker on a piece of live rock i picked up from my lfs. will it survive threw the cycle?

Although mushrooms are pretty hardy corals I'd say it's a toss up ... maybe, maybe not.

Just a small tip, don't post topics like that, even just for fun.
Depending on the ammonia spike during your cycle, the mushroom may or may not survive.

Yes they will fit. First you need to let them dry out so they are thinner. When you add them to the tank they will re-hydrate.

although I understand your concept behind the title it doesnt make it right what would you like it changed to??
as far as will it survive like bigarn said its a toss up. try to keep the ammonia as low as possible and still continue the cycle to give it the best possible chance.

I got some rics on a rock during my cycle of my 65 and they ended up multiplying throughout the cycle lol
