sorry i only had 50 lbs and it was sold.. you might try to look up a DIY post on base rock made out of cement and clam shells and sand.. thats what im probably going to do for my next project.. you could make your own custom rocks

base rock around kansas seems to be shipped lr that doesnt' meet the local lfs standards on arrival due to shipping die off. if it doesn't sell by the next shipment it's sold as base unless it happens to flourish. in which case usually an employee will buy it or it'll be put in a display tank to see what it'll do. it's actually kind of hard to find here because EVERYONE that knows how to turn it into better lr will snatch it up at the lower price. but that does take a lot of time. i keep curing tanks in the basement so i can get it as soon as it's available.
