New ATO and top off tank... only 3.5gallons but will hold enough water for about a week and a half in theory...
I am going to move my heater up to the tank because I am hating the temp fluctuation when my daylights come on...

Okay so made it through the week gone with no big issues.... LOVE the new Avast ATO!!!
and unfortunently due to the height I can only fill the resevoir tank 1/2 way up or it siphons into the sump :( so have to refill it every few days for now.. but with cooler days coming should last for a week or so...
on another note all of my war corals are dieing....dont know why... the mazes, favites and favias seem to be doing okay,, the acans are growing and doing GREAT! so looks like this will be an Acan/anemone/softy tank, lol I already knew I didnt have good enough husbandry for SPS... i dont like water THAT clean, lol
And lastly, it looks as though I will be getting rid of my anthias trio... the male is constantly picking on my poor midas blenny and i like him more, lol (plus the anthias eat SOOOOO much i could cut my feeding down to 1 cube a day....)

That's weird about the war corals and the anthias. I did not realize they could be such bullies.

Put a small check valve on the ato line to the sump. Then you can fill it all the way up. :) it will prevent back-siphoning.

Don't rely on a check valve......Not reliable insurance because they do and will fail at some point......

I don't need a check valve...the avast top off is pressure based and I only have a 10g top off resevoir...

Im not worried about filling up the top-off... even at half full it lasts for 4 or 5 days... and im VERY leery about check valves/float switches and the sort...

Never heard of that company... I'll have to look into it. Looks pretty good! Looks like your tank is coming along great!

Evergrow LEds look a LOT like CCLEDF's.....Those look almost exactly like mine. the Dimmer dial is shaped different is all.
They're fairly decent fixtures, could use a few different color white bulbs but not shabby for $180-ish each...
