Yes, Keeping Octopi with seahorses is the very peak of Marine Aquarium Genius! Or keeping tangs in a nano!
There are people like Bang Guy, that have 25+ years experience in marine fish. Are you calling them "Google know it all's"?
Or are you just insulting the whole community of SWF.com because they have called your bluff and said that you are wrong?

Great to see the same tank with a different approach. I put mine in the wall as a fresh water tank and then switched to salt. I didn't allow much room above it for lights so am very restricted as to what I can use. I started with PC compacts and then switched to T5's when it was time to replace lamps. Everything in the tank liked the T5's, especially algae on the front glass but a UV Sterilizer took care of that. I put lots of effort into the backside of the tank to make maintenance easy. Topping off is just the flick of a switch.

not even his tank....his brothers.. maybe when his octo outgrows his 12 gal he can add it to his brothers reef and see what he thinks
