No haven't really worked in the past 2 days....I fortunately live far enough about 7-8 miles from the river and up far enough and didn't experience any flooding, just getting around, and the roads being closed makes like a bit miserable, but worst things though.....A lot of people lost a lot over the past week, I just consider myself lucky....Did make the wife think long and hard about finally letting me get a generator....She wants it more for the frig and stuff....I have other things in mind.....MY TANK!!!!! I guess she has a point. You need food, and we have the fireplace if it's cold out....Have to keep the tank pumping though.....
It's hectic though alot of the major roads were shut that I need to travel for work, and they did send us out, and only to find you couldn't get through, and the roads you could pass through are restricted for big trucks, so a waste to a point....I think at this point most of the roads are passable, and all major truck routes are back open again.
Did spend the off time getting quite a bit done on the tank.....Got the overflow glued into place, doing last minute checks, and started buffing out all the edges of the tank.....started at 400 grit and have to work my way up to 12000 grit for the mirror finish....Hopefully by next Saturday afternoon it's back on the stand and leak testing!!!!!!
