I'm going from a 54g tank to a 120g tank. What is the best way to do this in regards to your water? I don't want to cycle my tank. I was thinking of doing a 15g water change 5 days before, keeping the water and also having my friend do the same. then I would take all my used water, a total of roughly 80 gallons, I would then have to add another 40g to make up the difference.
is this too hard, am I missing something? is there an easier way?
