55 gallon salt tank

I just set up my 55 gallon salt tank it's been going for 2 weeks. I bought my first live rock and when I got it home I noticed there was an anemone on the rock. Now I'm trying to keep it alive. Do I need to feed it? I was just planning a fish only tank but now I dont want it to die

It’s possible it could be a pest anemone (aptasia) if it came from your LFS live rock. Can you post a picture? If it is a aptasia you want to kill it ASAP!

i also just started a 55 gallon and got a BTA, you dont want aptsia and you dont want them reproducing
