55 Gallon Sump/Fuge for 55 MT?

Okay, I have a 55 gallon tank, would a 55 gallon fuge/sump be too big? This our my thoughts, I am buying my equipment with the possibility of upgrading in the future. I was going to link a 20L and 20H and have one as a fuge and one as a sump. After thinking on it, I might just go and buy a 55 gallon and make half a fuge and half a sump with skimmer and all. This would approximately double the water volume and that is good. I would like a 125 or larger in the future so I can always transfer the fuge and equipment over. With two tanks you have another "compartment" equalize water flow in and I think I would just rather have one tank that does everything. Space is not an issue since the display is on one side of the wall and the sump/fuge will be on the back side of the wall with plumbing running through the wall. Any thoughts on this?

Well, I will have a 55 gallon sump/fuge got the tank last night and am now going to be putting the baffles in it and everything. Almost ready to set the tank up, got the plumbing to do yet and need to paint the stand and hood and we're good to go!
