55g SPS Reef

Well, I know I posted a thread about a 90g, but I've decided not to get it...instead I'm just going to upgrade the equipment on my 55g and start growing SPS, Clams, and maybe an Anemone. I've never had experience with SPS before. So please can someone that does know about SPS inform me about how much lighting and care I need to give to take care of these corals. I know I am going to have to get a nice set of Metal Halides to grow what I want to grow. Any suggestions for lighting? I'm really excited to get this going!

you have better growth with a nice 6x54w t5ho fixture with individual reflectors then the MH.
and for bulbs get ATI or look for a good 6 bulb mix.
and get koralias for great flow. but if you want the top of the line get the VORTECH

+1 on the T5, thats what i am using and i have great growth! You dont need to waste the money on MH T5 will do just fine

idk if you have seen my thread. i am switching my 2x150 MH 2x130w PC to a 8x54w T5HO. im sure the growth are gonna be AMAZING!
