55g stock list

Just wondering if this combo would work. Planning on a fuzzy dwarf lion for sure, possibly a few chromis, and maybe a singapore angel? I've read Singapores are shy, but larger angels are recommended with lions-however most get too large for a 55g.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

Dude WTF are you talking about?
The combo would work but the angel will out grow the 55. I would do a larger dwarf angel. The Bluefin Pygmy/Multispine or Eibli angelfish would be my choice, you could also add another fish smaller hawkfish, hamlets, and tobies would all be good choices. Also there is a chance that the fuzzy will eat the chromis as he gets bigger

My fuzzy is about 4-5"....wouldn't a small toby puffer (like a valentini) be at risk of being eaten?

a valentini might actually wreck that lionfish.. puffers tend to nip lions..
if the puffer gets swallowed, he'll nuke the lion.. remember puffers do have the poison self defense mechanism..

A larger Clown(Tomato, Maroon) and Eels work with Dwarf Lions. Angels and Puffers need to be monitored closely as they can pcik at Lions fins stressing out and eventually killing them. Sometimes they leave the Lion alone though, hence the close monitoring.

I agree that you should keep an eye on it but in experiences Tobys and Dwarf Angels very rarely tend to nip lions and especially fuzzys since the pectoral fin are webbed all the way to the to the tips
