I got a green brittle star to start the cycling of the 55g sump.
Yes...the brittle star they refer to as "Green Death". I have wanted to have a species only tank for theis beautiful, but dangerous star.
Here's a pic from online:

I hoping to get some input on what else i could add to the tank that wouldn't eventually end up on the lunch menu.
Thanks

why is it referred to as "green death"?
The Green Brittle star can reach sizes of 20 inches in diameter. They are considered one of the most voracious invertebrates found in captivity. Hence, anything that is foolish enough to swim within grasping reach is considered dinner.
For example: firefish, damsels, mandrins, cleaner shrimps blennies, small gobies, cleaner wrasses, and crabs...are a few of the items on their menu.
