565 plumbing issue

Will the Barracuda pump supply sufficient water movement based on the way I'm ready to plumb?
The inlet and outlet is 1 1/2. I run 1 1/2 till the "T" then break off and attach to 1" barbs.
Thank you .

It should be fine. What is the rated flow for the pump? The sequence pumps run better with some back pressure, and it is actually recomended from the factory to have some back pressure.

lol yeah your right, that does look like a pretty weak stand. I would definetly bulk up that stand before its filled and stuck permanetly in place.

Im guessing its a 565 gallon tank?
If so your looking at over 4500 lbs of JUST water, not including sand ( 1lb or more per gallon) or any live rock that maybe used (1-1.5lbs per gallon)

It appears that way... I had the stand made with an open back.so they make it with 1 1/2 plywood sheets on the top, bottom and 3 sides. Since I did not make the stand and if it fails, it is covered.hahaha
Ths stand weighs 600lbs. the tank 1240lbs

I will admit you have amazing horizontal covereage for that tank, i just dont think your vertical "legs" being what looks like 2x4's is gonna be pretty

Your going to have about 1300gph shooting out of those 4 returns. Your head is almost zero so you will be getting pretty much all the 5400gph out of the pump. I'm not sure what your plans are for in that tank, but roughly 1300gph may be alot more than needed. If it is too much you just need to add a couple more outlets to that return.

Thanks for the advice. I do have and extra 5 holes(3 1" and 2 1 1/2") drilled in the bottom to handle any flow issues that may come up. I figured it is best to be pprepard.
This will be a reef and l prepfer to have a lot of flow with no PH. I'm running 1 closed loop with 2 of the 5 available holes. I will keep you posted.
Appreciate the help.
