how much live rock do you have? If you will give me the fish ill come down and buy some stuff off of you. Email me at reeftank27@stny.rr.com. thanks jason, oh and the panther and wolf are doing great. I love the personality of the panther. He is very active.
most of the live rock is small rubble sized pieces. I dont know if you read the post where i mentioned that or not. Only one piece is big. That piece is a shelf piece about 10 inches long 5 inches wide and 2 inches thick.
Ok I have the fluval and it is only missing one of the valve pieces and the plastic spray bar. The spray bar you dont actually need you can just run the hose back into the tank without it but the valve will need to be replaced. Its just a 4 inch plastic piece that you should be able to get at most lfs. You could run it without it, it will just be harder to start. It has two valves one on the intake and one on the return line. I dont really see why you need to have one for the return so you can actually probably run it without the piece. Let me know if you are stillinterested.
I got the Overflow. Looks great, thanks. I have one question though. It has 2 1" bulkheads, is it still 600gph with both drains, or is that for each drain? Also, do you still have any powerheads or pumps for sale?
I ran it with my mag 9.5 at about 3 quarters power so it was about 600 gph and it only used one bulkhead. The other one never touched water. I have 4 powerheads but no pumps. I have an aquaclear 3000 a rio 1100 a bodyguard and a really small one not sure of the brand. I have two of the small ones but im gonna use one for my nano.
I have an awesome titanium tube heater. Comes with thermostat and heat probe so you can put it away from the heater and get more accurate readings. I had both hoses running to the fuge incase the primary one somehow got clogged or something. Thats really what it is is a safety feature thats why its an inch higher.
