6 line wrasse vs clam please help

i bought a clam a week ago and it fell i noticed that my 6 line wrasse was picking on it do six line wrasse eat clams or did it already die

they normally dont eat clams, is the matle still comeing out? the 6 line might just be picking on stuff around the clam.

the six line is going in the clam and its not closing up but it still got its color inside my tangs seem to be scaring the wrasse off when it goes to eat
