In my tank I have:
frogspawn
leather tree coral(not sure the real name)
and green star polyps.
I purchased the frogspawn and the rest was given to me by some friends from their 125, the leather was just 4 pieces about an inch long, and the star polyps were only about the size of two silver dollars.
Yes, the clowns now host the frogspawn, which does keep it down in size, as they beat with the rubbing, every once in awhile they will go crazy in the star polyps.
ghola5 just copy and paste that in a new thread in The New Hobbyist forum and you will get a lot of help, everyone always helps me out there. I really don't know enough to help out with tangs, and starfish.

Well, I added a metal halide, a small clam and a small anenome. Everyone seems to be thriving, including an diatom bloom
So thats why no pictures yet, it is disgusting.
Any ideas on helping me get rid of it would be awesome. I thought it might be a phosphate thing, but phosphate is 0. So I'm thinking of waiting it out and see what happens. Maybe the lights are too bright?

Has your clean up crew maybe been diminished (that happens a lot)? That would also account for the bloom. Check out your snail/crab population, and if need be supplement with more. IDK...

No, it is the same as always, 3 hermits, 3 large turbo snails, a cleaner shrimp(worthless anenome food stealer, but ya gotta love him), LMB, 3 nassarias snails. It happened after I bought the light. I'll give it one more week, if it doesn't look better then some major action will have to take place. I have always used RO/DI water. I have added a supplement food for the clam, its called Kent Zooplex, that is about all I've changed.
Lights( acentics on from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. MH is on from noon to 7:00p.m.) Too Long maybe?
Zooplex(A tablespoon once a week)
The lights from the contest, I haven't sent for them yet, will soon, I have been shopping aroung for a 75 gallon tank. Hope to have one soon.
