60 gal aggressive set up

my wife and i want to turn our 60g into a aggr. setup after the move to the 150 in a month or so, and would like to know what a good stocking list would be for that size tank. she has always wanted a cow box fish, but i read they get HUGE and need upto like a 180g tank when bigger. she also wants some kind of trigger, which i would think would fit alot better, so if i were to get a trigger, what else could go in there with it that he wouldnt mess with to much? do they pick on lions? so far i was thinking of a lion (not sure what kind yet), a trigger and maybe a fox face. any info on them would be nice, like tank size needed and if they would get along and any other fish you think would go well in with them, TIA.

How about a Dwarf Lion, Maroon Clown, Flame Hawk, Snowflake Eel and a Foxface. That would be a cool little aggressive tank.

I would stick with 3 fish max for that sized tank....But either way your lion, trigger or PBT wouldn't be able to grow to full size in that tank. Good thing is, they still last long enough and grow big enough to enjoy em.

i dont know where you got that we are getting a PBT, we are going to get one for a 150, but not the 60. as far as the # of fish and them out growing it, a drawf lion can do fine in a 30g tank, so a 60 should be more then enough i would think, and a niger trigger is ok with a 60g ive read. at this point were thinking of a drawf lion, niger trigger or humu, fox face and a mated pair of gold strip maroons. that is less then we have in there now with our reef (which is going into a 150 very soon) so i think it should be fine with enough rock. would they all get along? thanks for info.
