This question just keeps on running around my head all the time! lol So, should I set up a 60 gallon warmwater reef or 60 gallon coldwater reef? I have a maroon clownfish that I already had for 1.1 years so far and its going to out grow the tank soon. Its my sisters clown, so she doesn't want to sell it or give it away. It is going to cost almost the same to set up a warmwater reef and a coldwater reef tank. The warmwater reef I can make my own rock with some LR to seed it. But then there are those really cool coldwater anemones and stuff and the very cool warmwater stuff too. lol I just can't make up my mind!!!lol

I agree with Angler Man. Coldwater tanks are much more unique and you could keep Catalina gobies! Best of all gobies IMO!!

I voted coldwater!
Eitherway deffinitely set up a tank diary for your progression.

Catalina gobys live on the coast of CA and I know where they are in CA.
Same with strawberry anemones and coldwater gorgonians and much much more!

You have to put one of those gorgeous boxfish in it. So, when are you getting started with your coldwater tank?

Coldwater tanks are cool, but you can't argue with the warm water reefs' simple feeding demands of light and the occasional supplemental feeding...
