Anyone using these? Made by Lights of America I think. They are supposed to put out 6.5k light comparible to a 175-250w metal halide, but they are a pc bulb (only use 65w) and found at home depot and other places for under 30 bones. I have heard it on other BBs and was wondering about experiences here. I guess there is a plastic shield you cut off the bulb itself, and it helps with heat dissipation if you drill a few holes in the housing. They are an outdoor light in a weather proof housing and you can wire them right in.
