I have a magdrive 7 that will be my return pump for a 75 gallon reef, is this pump too small for my return pump, I will have like four or five different powerheads in main tank...

Should be about perfect for a 75...With the powerheads you may even end up with too much water movement in there.
Two powerheads should be enough,,,but you never know for sure till you try it...

Sounds pretty close to me - but if I may ask - what size and type of overflow are you planning to use ?
Drainline size and sump size ?
It's normally best to look at the tank size ( 75 gallon ) and the overflow/drainline/sump/return pump as ONE package.
One choice is determined by many.

It does sound about right, how far are you pumping the water back up to? I would guess something like 4 feet or so. You can always put a check valve in the return to throttle the pump back a bit as needed.
