The Bta is doing well but I just had a bad ich outbreak in the tank. There where only two survivors, the purple firefish

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Did it come from a newly added fish?

Sorry to hear that..
Do you know which fish brought the ich in? Are you sure it was ich or was it your levels? 1 month in w/ all those fish seem sudden. (I am no expert, but back when I had my 75gal my levels didn't spike then drop until after 6 weeks).
But back to your light. Would you be able to fit a cover above it w/ fitted fans?
