ok here we go. at this time i have a 75gal reef that has been running for about three years. several issues to deal with. my emperor is in the early stages of changing from his juvenile coloring to his mature form. my sailfin has also grown much faster than i expected. then there is the leak under the overflow. all of that being said, i decided to set up the 135 gal tank that has been in my garage for several years. all i have is the tank. no stand, pump or lights. while at the lfs 2 days ago, i saw a used 180gal with everything but lights. like the godfather, he made me an offer i couldn't refuse. after a lenghty dicussion with my wife i now own the tank.
today we began the process of moving. we tore down the 75 and moved it into the kitchen. everything went great and the corals have all opened back up. i am now a firm believer in the slider things they sell on tv to move furniture. i found some at a local store and they worked like a charm. so now we have a spot cleared for the 180 which we will pick up next saturday. all i have to do now is find about 4 really big friends to help with the move (75 miles away). should be an interesting trip.
