I agree and clams fare better in tanks with dirty water, meaning they thrive better in tanks without skimmers.
Nice build though!

The tank is "new to me" but it is a old tank. The rock is mostly 1+ years old and so is about 1/3 of the sand. The water was about 60% from my other tanks 40% new at start. Then befor I moved stuff to the tank I started testing and mixing water aout of the old tank into the new on as it finished cycling. I talked to the LFS today I might have found the problem
ME
The clam was laying to one side and the LFS told me how to pose him. He forgot to tell me after a week if the clam will not sit like I want him to stop messing with him.
The LFS has offered to replace him Free of charge due to there leaving that part off. So maby I will try a new one.
Bgrae001 Are you In the army down there In FayetteNAM? If so thank you for your service.

Yep, I play Army for a living down here in Fayettenam. It's a good living and I'm very proud to do it. I've been playing Army for a little over 14 years!

*UPDATE*
I will have to get a better screen for the over flow

Did you know a turbo snail can fit in a 1" return PCV, a 90 elbow, and a
1" "T"......... but not through the bulkhead
Ya he stopped it up in the bulkhead. Well tank didn't flood ...Much... But the pump was running dry. it seams to be ok I will keep an eye on it. It could not have been for more than 1 hour that was the last time I passed it and it was ok then. O well lessons learned.
