Thinkin about starting a 75 or 100 .... The biggest Ive had is a 30 ... What kind of filter and skimmer do I need is all i really need to know.

In our 100G we have a Euro-Reef skimmer in the 20G sump/fuge. After a bunch of research it was decided we couldn't go wrong with that one even though it wasn't cheep. We don't have a formal filter set up, per say. What we have is 50lbs live rock, and about 110 of baserock/agrocreate that is being well seeded by the live rock. That is what is doing the biologic filtration for us. That and a bunch of calerpa algae in the fuge.
