its some type of macro algae. i had it in my tank also. what's the length of your tank? looks longer than 48"

It's 60"L x 18"D x 16"H
It looks like it's Neomeris annulata. Thanks

Are you saying 18 inches in depth or height? I would especially consider the longer tank if you have a smaller room. I have the standard 180 and it really juts out into the room at 24 inches... I think an 8 foot long, 2 foot tall and 18 inch deep would work better.

Im saying 24"deep.it would stick out into room , i really like tanks with depth like corner tanks.I am considering taking 2 96"utility kitchen cabinets on both sides of tank and connecting the 2 cabinets over the tank with some dreased up 3/4 " oak ply. decked out with trim.Probably lots of crown and fluted 1x6 with rosetts,and of course have to build a custom base cabinet.But hey thats a perc of being a carpenter.

I like them too I just wish it was a slight bit taller. It sounds like that would make a nice tank if that's what you decide to go with.

Thanks, the yellow tang really added some nice movement and color.
