ok I guess I will just do an army of Mantis Shrimp instead :)
Are there any rare fish that wont brake the bank? I feel like every time I see a tank it has all the same stock as the last 4-5 I saw. Is this just because a lot of enthusiasts have smaller tanks and there is more variety in larger sized fish?

Haha! Have fun cleaning that Mantis tank!!!
Usually the rare fish are more money, etc. There are definitely more options with bigger tanks as well. There are definitely some fish that are very common, and it feels like everyone owns them. Sometimes, it's just because they're easy to find, not too expensive and reef safe. And the more common fish are usually the ones that get along well with each other.
The "having a rare fish" thing was a big deal for me. I had to have that one stand out fish. For me, it's my Orange Spotted Filefish, who I converted to frozen so it was reef safe.
I also really like my Yasha Goby because not many people had one. Neither were super expensive fish, but the filefish was definitely a lot of work.
I'm going through that whole "I need a show piece fish" with my 180 right now and still just haven't found one that screams out "buy me."

Should I just be happy with rare coral? I think I still want at least one "Rare" something in there. Times like these I wish I had room for sharks. :)

The "rare" corals are easier, but they can sometimes come with a bigger price tag than rare fish.
I'm sure you can find something out there. Some fish just aren't as common for one reason or another, even when they're not costing an arm and a leg. I didn't pay much for my Yasha Goby, but still, not a lot of places carry them, so not a lot of people have them.

More and more basslets are becoming available in the hobby lately, so they're still considered rare, and you won't see them in too many tanks, but they make great little inhabitants, might want to look into some of them.

Calico Crab (Probably gets too big)
Pom Pom Crab These guys are COOL
Serpent Starfish Brittle stars are better
Mandarin Goby Only add to an established reef unless you get one that is captive breed
Six Line Wrasse Mildly Agressive
Percula/ Ocellaris both look good make sure you get captive breed fish, wilds are hard to keep
Fuzzy Dwarf Lion Fish (How are these? I have read from some REEF SAFE and Others say they are not)Generaly Reef safe means they won't eat CORALS This doesn't mean It won't eat decrative crustations, may also pick off small fish so if you do add it make sure you let the other fish grow out
Red Scooter blenny These stay very small and may have difficulty getting food if the other fish are agressive feeders
Reef safe Puffers?Tobys should be fine if you feed well
Reef Safe Eels? Golden Dwarfs, and garden eels are but are expensive and are very difficult to keep
Princess Parrot FishNO, NO, NO,
grows to 30+ inches
Pajama Cardinal Hardy and peaceful but should be kept in groups
Naso or Kole Tang They grow to large

Ok what about a FoxFace in with a Kole Tang? Will they fight? or is having two fish of this size too much for 75 gallons?
Anyone have any luck with a Borbonius Anthias?

They probably wouldn't fight, but it might be too much in that size tank. People do it, it can be done with proper maintenance and planning the rest if the tank around them, but I wouldn't advise it.
Borbonius are a moderate care level fish, they're just rare so they're expensive. I know someone who has two that are doing really well. I plan on adding one, and possibly a pair to my 180.

Yeah it is sad they are rare, but I have read about them and I suppose it makes sense. They are VERY awesome though!
