75 Reef

Ok.I can get a 760 watt metal halide fixture with 2x Odyssea 250W DE HQI Bulb 15000K,and 4x Odyssea 65W Compact Fluorescent Bulb Actinic Blue, with 6 LED lights for the same price as a Current USA Nova Extreme Pro T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture, 6X54 Watt, 48 inch, which one should I get.Would the metal halide be to much light for the tank?

Ok.Let me look into it.
my TEK t-5's with 8 bulbs allowed me to keep about anything.. i chose all 10k's and they are awesome. you shouldnt try to buy a cheap-o light fixture because it is a huge part of a reef..
this is whatthe TEK's did for me...

Do they give you good grwoth for your sps corals, like that nice looking monti?
if you can keep ur alk and Ca in check yes.
my softies took off a couple of months ago.. less than 4-5 months ago tht frogspawn was almost dead down to a head that opened no bigger than a half dollar. now its larger than the palm of my hand.
the monti has grown some. i haven't kept an eye on it to see how much but i would say it supports it very nice and it def. has grown but not sure how much.

Which of these fish should I intoduce first.I am getting a fish for the qt this weekend.qt has been running for 2 months.
3 green reef chromis
2 ocellaris
1 sixline wrasse
1 bicolor angel
1 randalls goby

I would add the chromis or the clownfish first.
As far as SPS growth under T5's, I have had some decent luck with various sps under a 8 bulb Nova Extreme on a 75 with the sps in the top half of the tank.
