I picked up the rock anemone through a wholesaler called "fish heads" probably the only nice piece of livestock they sent the store I worked at then.
colorfull rock anemone are semi hard to find unless you find a company that has collectors that work their regions, the problem being the brown ones are super common and it drives the prices down reducing collection and purchasing so the more colorfull ones arent as sought after by collectors because they know that the price is going to be fairly low regardless of color because no one sells rock/flower anemone for over $15-20, so that aghain drives collection efforts lower. if you have a choice would you fill your boat with $50 animals or $10. they also arent a hostable species so clown fish enthusiasts or casual hobbyests wont buy them because "nemo" wont host in them.

Yea it would figure... I have seen a red flower anemone that I loved, and Don Lino was selling the mini carpets a while back but neither are obtainable right now. If you hear of anyone selling any let me know.

I can get my hands on rock anemone from time to time but I dont think it would be worth it for my to buy one and ship it to you as it would cost more for shipping than they sell for. but if you would like I can keep an eye out.

this psammocora is almost always found in shallow water, usually in areas of moderate to high turbidity and sedimentation which may restrict other species. It is often the coral growing nearest the shoreline, indicating the resistance of this species to physical stresses.
not a real common piece due to its dull color. its usually brown or grey but will green up nicely in good water with very strong lights. but adapt fairly well to moderate lighting though growth is extremly slow.
