75g sump pump

i have a 75g aga with mega flow and i want to run a 30 gal sump/furg should i use a mag 7 or 9.5

Not sure if this helps you but i have a 90G aga with megaflow with a 30 gallon sump. I am currently using a 70 gph mag.
* sorry i meant 700 gph

that does not sound like nearly enough flow those overflows are rated at 600gph

I had the same setup. I tried a mag9 but it was to much for the overflow so I got a mag7 and it was perfect

No problem! You could just get the 9 and have t part of it off back into your sump and put a ball valve on it so you can make it not as powerful

yeah i had thought about that too i was kind of hoping to get closer to the 600gph mark and the 700 i dont think will do it at that head

either way your're going to need ph's in the tank....I'm not a big fan of using a valve and adding more head pressure.

bigger is better. can always slow down cant speed up.
