,Heater in intake section,heater is upright!that's what happens when your in a hurry!

Love the xenia!!! i always wanted some, but now that i live in nashville, the sell theirs way to overpriced, and they dont do well in shipping. tank looks great though, love the yellowish/orange zoos on the sand.

Thanks for the comment,and for the livestock question,as small as the tank is I wasn't planning on anything except the snails,I robbed a couple of them out of my 55 also.

im sure you can keep a clown goby. those things are so cool. ive always wanted one, and i might get one for my ten gallon.

You could def. get somtype of Goby or maybe even a clown. That my opinion though. Nice setup its looking good so far.

I've actually been thinking of a small sand sifter,and I also got some very small baby brittle stars on there way

You should look into a Hydor Flo Deflector put it in mine today moves water all over. It does need a stronger pump though, so I am gonna put a maxjet900 on it alot more flow and should be less heat.. the 1200 makes too much heat and uses a hell of alot more power than the 900..

dont want to break the news, but sand shifter starfish are bad
they need like 300 gallons of water and a 3 inch bed of sand, and even then they take the nutrition out of your sand, they would kill the brittle starfish, and mollusk, such as snails as well as clams and erchins!!! Just trying to help

Ordered the Hydor Flo Deflector and the maxijet 600 on the 19th and still haven't got it yet!
