Okay I have to ask - what's the pond's diameter.
I ask because a single adult sharpie(sharpnose) need a pool that no least than 12' diameter(2,500 gallons). And they grew very quickly - usually taking about 2-2.5 years to reach adult hood. By the way - sharpie pups need a 9' diameter(about 1,200 gallons) for the 1st year. Sharpies are small(average 3-3.5 ft) but highly active sharks.
A better alternative - would be a brown smoothhound.
A couple of rays should be fine.

could be a petshop...if you look in one of the pictures they have another aquarium, looks to be around 125-180g

Well - if it's for a FS - does that mean you'll be saleing the sharks & rays?
Because while I love sharpies - I tend to feel that like BTRs or Bonnets they really don't belong in LFSs - unless your build a very big display tank(2 to 3,000 gallons - at least). Because general speaking - if a LFS has a Blacktip, bonnet, or sharpie is a 500-1,000 gallon pond/tank then the less informed customers will think it's okay for them to keep that shark in the same size of pond/tank - when in fact it's not.
I'm not saying a 800 gallon shark/ray display pond is bad idea - because it's not. The truth is I love the idea. It's just that I suggest more aquarium friendly species - like horns, bamboos, eppies, brown smoothhounds, or various rays. Plus in general you will sale about at least dozen of the following sharks & rays(horns, bamboos, eppies, coral cats, cal rays, and cortez rays) for every sharpie, bonnet, or blacktip you would sale.
Do mean to be all preachy - I'm just very passionate about sharks in general(but especially sharpies).

There will be mostly rays in it. but it will have a few other smaller sharks also like the one above.

No - but I wish did. For me, sharpies are basically my dream shark. I've done quite alot of research on them - including talking to couple online dealers about them. It also helps that they are quite common in the coastal waters of NC. The online dealers, basically recommended a pool of at least 15' in diameter(about 4,000 gallons). Why because they are very active sharks - they not only swim contantly - but swim fast. They are quite literally built like a mini blue shark(see avatar). I've seen dozens of these "sand sharks", caught by fishermen, over the years. In fact, my first experience in holding a live shark was with the sharpnose, when I was about 8 years old.
As for other sharks, I have kept a bamboo(brown banded) & a coral cat(but, not at the same time), in the past. But none - right now. But hopeful that will change soon.
Mistergn - keep us posted on the shark & rays for the tank. It looks like a pretty cool set up.

Yes, sharks are very cool, indeed.
By the way - sharpies can swim circles are blacktips. I've heard of sharpie pups stealing food from right under the noses of blacktips pups.
