90 gallon, 85lbs live rock and 90lbs live sand.
was thinking of a porc puffer, hawaiin spotted puffer, and humu trigger
will they get along?
cool for a 90 gallon?
also will a niger trigger get along with a lion fish?
will a lion fish fit in a 90?
what about the humu trig and a lion?

dont mix a trigger with a lion, they are known for picking on them. the first three fish sound ok to mix to me. also just a though i wouldn't use that much live sand unless you want a deep sandbed.

90 is plenty big enough for a lion, I just moved mine from a 90 to a 125 and he looks cooler swimming from end to end.
No disrespect to angelsrock but I had a 100 lbs of live sand in my 90 and it looked good.
I haven't done much with triggers or puffers but I've read that the humu humu can be nasty so I would add with caution.
I have also researched and read that the niger trigger is one of the friendlier triggers and can be added with a lion, there again add with caution all fish have their own personality.
As I said the humu is nasty and will be more likely to nip the fins of the lion. I wanted to add a clown trigger with my lion and I could have got a great deal but I feared the lion be ing nipped. I've also read that puffers will nip lions but some people have had success.
I have a yelloe tang, gold striped maroon clown, panther grouper, and a volitan lionfish. They where in a 90 gallon and I just moved them to a 125. I have some rock formations for them to swim around and they are an active awesome group of fish to watch!

Bergamer, a bit off topic: what the heck is that dogpile picture in your avator? it looks either hilarious or wildly disgusting.
Do you have a closeup or larger version?

i had a 75 with about 80 pounds of livesand and the sandbed was at least 4 inches deep, just a personal opinion that i don't like seeing algae growing through the glass in the sandbed.
