911-----My Toadstool Leather Fell--Got Stung

I brought home a nice Toadstool Leather yesterday. Sometime during the night he fell (wasn't attatched properly  ) and one side of him landed smack into my Pagoda Cup Coral. Pagoda is fine, no damage at all. Acted normal all day.
My ? is this: the toadstool has a white patch on him now, where he was laying into the pagoda coral. It's sloughing off, and I have a med-strong current on this to help him. Of course he hasn't opened up, but I know this can be quite normal. I'm worried about what I believe is the stung part of him.
Can anyone help/advise?

We had a large leather that turned a bit white once after falling on an elegance..if I remember correctly...the white part, will sluff off...as they do frequently as long as the entire leather isn't damaged, I'd hope that it would continue to repair itself. Ours sluffed off the bad part and would lean all the way to the base, but eventually corrected itself and THRIVED! He seemed to bend and shape himself quite frequently. I hope all goes well...sorry I can't help more!

option 720, thank you for the kind words ;) Commiseration is the best form of helping!
VkeSu--a very hearty warm welcome to the board. I am honored to be your first post :) You helped a great deal. Thank you.
It is now another 24 hours since the incident, and his behavior is exactly as you described. The white seems to be sloughing off and becomming paler. He seems to be okay and holding his own. He is "bending and shaping" himself quite alot, so I know he is alive and doing something!
Again thanks guys.

Update:
The Leather is looking better, white almost completely gone. He's still closed up tho, but he's still bending and changing shape often.
Anyone else have any imput on Toadstool Leathers??
