i know this has probablly been asked a thousand times, and I should have listened to the "don't skimp on the skimmer" lectures, and now I'm paying for it. I am currently running an 'Oddysea' brand skimmer and had no problems for the first year or so, now I can't get the dang thing to work to save my life!
I've been through two pumps, getting shocked and broke or rusted impellers in just the last couple of months and again it's breaking down on me! (no bubbles) I'm looking to upgrade and any suggestions would be great. This skimmer will be in a 10g sump for two seperate 29g tanks. (68g total) current skimmer is rated 75-100g. It can be in-sump or hang on.
Any suggestions?????

I just installed a Coralife Super Skimmer 65 (needlewheel) in my 20-gal sump. (it's actually outside the sump) for my 30 gal DT. I like it. Produces a lot of bubbles and has a nice big skimmate cup. Powerful pump too.

If you have the room, I highly recommend the ASM Mini-G. I have had one running for over 6 months now and it's great.
