Both of these books are very informative, and also written in an easy to understand and even entertaining style.
An essential book (to me, anyway) is THE POCKETGUIDE TO MARINE FISHES by Michael. Very much one of those "fieldguide" type books popular with bird enthusiasts, it runs down virtually any fish you'd ever consider. Not brimming with a ton of information about each fish (They usually get one page each), but it does offer some very important information such as compatibility, feeding and habitat requirements, size, etc.
I haven't seen it, but it's my undestanding that the "Dummies..." book isn't all that great.
I agree with the above 100%.
I have read through some of the dummies book, and don't care for it much.
