A Bristle Worm?

Hello,
So I'm a new aquarist and my tank is cycling right now. It's about two and half weeks in, and today I flipped on the light and there was this neon blue and green looking centipede crawling into a crack in my live rock. I didn't notice it until it was almost gone, but it was about a centimeter wide, and I saw at least an inch length wise, but I know it is longer. From doing some research, my guess is a bristle worm? But do they get that big that quickly? I've had my hand in the tank arranging things, doing a water change, fixing temp, etc. However, now I don't want to put my hand near the water for fear of touching this thing by accident and getting stung (yes, very manly I know). Help me out here? I have the light off and I'm keeping an eye out for it to see if I can get a pic.
