I have a small huma and niger, the tank is having an algy problem so i put a few hermits and snails in and so far so good. I have two green brittle stars in another tank and am thinking of transfering one. any experience with this set up?
Triggers luv brittlestars, and are one of the primary predators of them in the wild. Actually, lots of fish eat brittlestars, but I really can't stand to talk about it.
Some of the larger strfish, by the way, often do work well with some of the triggers...we have a 9" pincushion star that has done well with one....well, until it ate the trigger anyways.

HaHA!!! Retribution!!! Revenge!!! Retaliation!!!!
I LOVE IT!! LOL.
Sorry the trigger was seastar food, BTW, but seastars don't usually get the upper hand, so I just have to go for the underdog!
Yes I agree with op. The only chance a brittle would have with a trigger is if your tank is a FOWLR. That way the poor star could hide somewhere. But when the trigger finds him, he will not give up until the brittle is eaten. or destroyed. Good luck.
