A disease or net injury?

I've had my tank up and running about 7-8 weeks now. My first fish were a few mollies to help cycle the tank...and new additions of live rock. About week 4 I added 3 yellow tailed damsels and about 10 days later got one, then another clown. The mollies were removed. I've had my clowns about 3 weeks now. On the smaller clown I noticed his fin had a little fuzziness to the end of it. Not like a bite taken out, but almost like extra fuzzy pieces on the end. I did not notice it at the fish store...but later that night here at home. I figured it must be damage from the net. (He aquired the name Nemo since he had an injured fin.) Here we are a few weeks later and its still there. I looked at different diseases and did not find anything that really looked like it....the closest would be Lymphocystis...but not really. I wish my camera took better pictures. This is just my camera phone...my sister is borrowing my regular digital and will get some more pics this weekend.
The little guy eats great and even takes care of his anemone quite well. The two clowns are best buddies so far. (Yes, I know I made plenty of newbie mistakes...no I did not QT any of the fish and got an anemone a bit premature. Everyone appears to be doing wonderful and my numbers have been great. Amm, No2, No3 are all at 0, ph 8.2, temp 79.5, sal 1.021 (I am in process of slowing bringing up to 1.023). I was feeding a cheap flake and brine, but in the past few days started on mysis shrimp. I also for a treat went to our local seafood market (known for their great seafood) and got one raw shrimp and have cut VERY little pieces and given them that as well.
So, I do understand I need to get a QT together, but at this point I do not have one. So, can you please look at the pics and see if you can tell if there is something wrong with my little Nemo. If you are going to suggest putting him into QT, I've read about the big plastic tubs...BUT it would take so long to cycle that tub....is there time to do that. Also, he would be so lonely without Nigel (bigger clown-named before realizing he'd be a she) and Annie (his anemone)...if you do suspect needing treatment - can we do it in the DT?
Look at the end of his side fin...whats weird is the end of it turns white right at the line where his body turns white...but its fuzzy. Sorry I'm not better at describing it.

I cannot tell from the pictures, but from your description it sounds like lymphocystis. It is cottony looking and at the tip of the fin? Improve the fish's diet and add zoecon or selcon to the food. Brine, mysis, and flake are not enough. Buy some frozen formula foods, these each have a variety of different meats and algae mixed together. You can also make your own food. Beth has a recipe in her common treatments FAQ.

Cotton Candy is EXACTLY what I was thinking! LoL!! Thanks! I'm glad its not one of the worse of the problems! Whew! Heading to fish store for zoe and Jungle Jims....our local seafood grocery...to make up some food!
Thanks!
