A dumb statement ??

I was at the LFS today and the guy told me his Fuji LR hasn't been coming in with a lot of color recently because it is winter. Is this true or was he just giving me a dumb excuse?

Definately making an excuse. Fiji is south of the equator and therefore it is summer there right now.

I hope he's not getting his LR from Fuji...that's a tall volcano in Japan. I would imagine winter would affect the coloration of the rock there! HEHEHE! Just kidding...LOL.

my live rocks looks very dusty what may cause the dusty look and what should i do to get a little coloration going on

Just as a tip, it is usually better to start your own thread when you have new questions. A thread like this is nearly 4 years and probably will not get many looks.
As to your question, how long have you had your rock? How long has your tank been set-up?
