I dont know what happened to my thread over in DIY about my 700 gallon Raypond build but I finally recieved my 2 (Male and Female) California Round Stingrays to put in my pond with Wilma our other ray. I had to order them from a guy in Cal. who would pick their --- for me. I have them in my quarentine kiddie pool with prazipro for a little while. So far the bigger male hasnt eaten and the female has not eaten in 2 days, might be the prazi though. Anyway heres a couple of pics;

Oh, so sorry to hear that, I will keep her in my thoughts....
I think a lot of our old posts are still out there....LOL...we just have to wait for SWF's I.T. Department to work out some things with the upgrade

Well the big male died this past monday for some reason I'm not sure but he was really puffed up in the back as you can see in the pic, never would eat a thing. I did a autopsy (sorta, cut him open) and his gi tract was full of poop and I mean alot. Maybe he had a blockage, and the female has withered away to almost nothing so I started to force feed her 2 nights ago and she seems to be alittle more active. Its neet to see my other 2 rays go over to her and give her some gentle nudges like come on get moving and they will stare at her and looks to me like they smell her. Anyways here's a couple of pic from her feedings.

No i'm sure it did'nt have that, I have seen that at a LFS on their Rays. Don't really know what he had thoug, maybe stress or some internal infection. Kind of disapointed though as I have been looking for a male that size for a while now but another will show up.

Neither of them made it , probably will never order them online again since i cant see what shape they're in before i buy. I now have all that I want for a while so I will see (or not) if they will mate, there are 2 males and 4 females of mature size from what I have been reading and seem to be happy and getting fat and have become very tame, so here's a little video: http://s494.photobucket.com/albums/r...t=DSCN0324.flv

dude thats got to be one of the coolest set ups in the world for a home. Sucks for the losses on the othe rtwo but glad to see the news doing great. Congrats!
