Very cool acros. Once I get my first piece and experiment with flow/parameters/etc... I hope they can look as good as yours!!

Yea Boynton Beach. Im goin to be going down to Big Als in Coconut Creek this weekend hopefully and we'll see if they have anything worth buying, or if the price is right. I started with my monti cap and thats doing really well, so I know its possible for them to live well.

Yea Boynton Beach. Im goin to be going down to Big Als in Coconut Creek this weekend hopefully and we'll see if they have anything worth buying, or if the price is right. I started with my monti cap and thats doing really well, so I know its possible for them to live well.

Cool there are some nice stores down south. The one on Griffin Road just east of 95 is nice. We only have a couple up here in the Jupiter and surrounding area. Got any pictures of the Monti?????

Beautiful Acro!
My Monticap is doing well, my birdsnest is doing well, but my acro that I bought a few months back has lost it's color.
I have noticed that it is growing, just not colorful like it was. I'm working hard to get my water perfect, but my toughest part is keeping my alk high enough. What do you do to keep your alk up?

Hi azfishgal.....I use Natureef alk plus..I know it is hard, I can rarly get my alk over 9.7 as well.....I have had a few turn colors and I am still waiting for the original colors to come back....Great news about the others though...Congrats

19 bucks. i'm friends with the owner of a fish store and get ORA Stuff at cost. to bad they dont' have colonies..

Three 250 10k Coralvue MH's, 2-460nm 96w Actinicts and 2-420nm 96w Actinicts. Milliporas are fast growers the fastest in my tank it should be no time at all untill you see some serious growth. What did you pay for the ORA frag.....

Well, it's nice to know I'm not the only one having that problem. Does the Natureef Alk also boost the pH?
