A few new pics...

Well, my old Red Starry Hermit, Goliath, died a while ago...he was huge. I stopped back into the store, where I got him, on Sat and they had a few more...only place in the city where I know to find them. They were going for $10, each...cheap, IMO, so I picked up 2 new ones.
I finally got around to somewhat cleaning the 200, tonight and thought I'd take a few new pics of the new Hermits, and the lovely lady was out, so I thought I'd take some new pics of her as well.

I could never force myself to set up a 300gal. reef tank. lol!
Any time I see a large tank, I immediately start putting together a list of aggressive, predatory fish, that I'd have in the tank.
I'm looking forward to meeting you guys. Tell your husband to be prepared, cause I can talk for hours about my Morays. lol!

So those big hermits "survive" in your aggressive...?
I've been thinking about getting a "big" hermit or two for my tank, but I wouldn't spend $20 on a crab dinner for myself...so I'm having a hard time tossing one in the tank...

I've gotten rid of quite a few fish, Squidd, in anticipation of 7 Hawaiian Dragons I'm getting in. The only fish in the tank, right now, are the Hawaiian Dragon, Whitemouth Moray and an 8" Sailfin Tang.
Even when I had my Triggers and everything else, these Red Starry Hermits always stood up for themselves. My old Starry, Goliath, used to fight off my Queen Trigger, when she'd try to steal food from him.

I know you have posted it before, but, what camera do you use? I am going from 35 mm reg. to digital, (against my will,

I like to take pics the old fashioned way) Our digital that we had took a dive so, time to get another. If it weren't for wanting to import pics into the computer, it wouldn't be an issue.

LOL, what made you feel compelled to post this? Way to let your maturity shine through! Post where in this thread AW2 has made you feel he has a poor attitude? From all I've seen AW2 is a good guy with lots of good info. I think a lot of you guys get upset because he tells people "that won't work" and he ends up being right and they resent it lol.

Cindy, I'm using an Olympus C-8080...8.1MP. I've had it for only a few months, so I'm still getting used to it. I dont feel that the quality of pics that I'm getting are good enough...I know this camera can do so much better. I upgraded to this from an Olympus 4.5MP. Olympus is a great company...I wont buy anything else.
After having this one for a few months, I'm thinking of upgrading already to the Olympus EVOLT-E500. It's a digital SLR and that's what I want...something where you can interchange lenses, etc.

Thanx for the info AW2, wow, that is quite a camera. A little more than what I was wanting to spend, guess I'll have to put a few more coinage back.

BTW, every time I see your posts with that pic of Ron Burgundy, I crack up. You must be some kind of cut-up to have that as your "whatever that pic is called."

Hey...this is actually Andy...we were talking, a while ago, about us trading tanks, for my 300gal. Never heard back from you. I've been keeping track of your octo thread, on --...gotten rid of it yet?
Anyway...my source, for the HDMEs, isnt really a source. I'm not getting them from a store or a wholesaler. I'm getting them straight from the reefs of Hawaii.

Hey Andy! I just wrote you an email. To answer your question, the octo is still with me. I'm thinkin' of letting him out of his hamster ball, but I think the lion will lunch him! I woulda thought that I could have traded him for a few frags or somethin...go figure!
All along I've been following this guy with these awesome tanks...and it turned out to be you!
