A Few Pics Of My 90 Gallon Fish Only Tank

They are all living color decorations. I am going to do another 90 gallon bow fron all with LR within a month or less. And I will transfer this tank to my office, I felt more comfortable learning to maintain a fish only tank first, and that was smart because I had so many problems the 1 st month and a half that would of wiped out corals and live rock.

Thanks what do you think of the system. It comes from the over flow on the left to the bio balls, to the skimmer, to the U.V. sterilizer and back into the tank. I want to add a some live rock int he sump thats the closest I will get to a refugium for healthier bio filtratio, even though my water is always good.

Honest opinion would be to get rid of the fake crap. By using it, you are hiding the actual natural beauty of the fish. Just my $.04 worth.

agree about the fake stuff cant even see the fish too distracting and the fake stuff does nothing to benifit your tank

My honest opinion is if you think it looks good, then it does. I dont persoanlly like the fake stuff, but i also understand what you did and why. It was actually probly a good move, so now you will be more comfortable buikding your new tank. And i bet once you put the Live stuff in you will like it better. Great job, its a beautifull tank and hood, and good filtration system too.

usually i don't care for the fake coral but i think yours looks good, it's really cool looking i like the brightness. most people-who arent in the hobby that is, won't even give the fake stuff a thought, they will just think it's really neat. i'm sure you will like the real stuff better but that will make a great tank for your office-as offices tend to be boring, ha. :joy:

i must concur that if you like it thats all that matters sure anyone in the hobby can tell it isn't real but who cares it's alot easier to take care of and in an office who has time to make sure water changes are getting done and is being maintained enough to house real corals my personal opinion on the fake stuff makes no difference either way so i won't even give it beautiful tank what kind of trigger is that nevermind it's a humma humma i believe

Well I can tell you guys one thing I only get compliments when people see the tank, and then they tell others to come over and take a look for them self. My next tank will be a reef but I am mainly doing that for the quality of the water and the health of the fish, NOT the look I think it is HOT! What about the system pretty profesional and I put it together all by my self. Nothing is like a DIY type of thing but the components are all configured to work together by me and are all top of the line. I do want a reall chiller though the only thing I did my self as cpu fans and that was 6 months after I got the tank. I do want to go pvc for the next sytem though any comments on pvc?

Adamc1303- 1st, Beautiful fish and setup other than the fake stuff, but that was already covered. 2nd, and this is the big part of my comment (I'm not trying to get you mad or anger you with this comment, but) All of those fish will outgrow that tank FAST!!!! I hope you have a plan to upgrade or trade the fish. The Lion will get huge!, The Sohal tang needs at least a six foot long tank or larger, the puffer and yellow tang will get large, and lastly the trigger will get extremely agressive with the other fish as it grows. Not enough space IMO. Just my $.02- Don't take it the wrong way.
