where and when is the next frag meeting?.. hmmm... Lets set one up...... How about Sunday the 31st?? My place (Boca Raton) at around noon... How does that sit with everyone?... maybe we should setup a new post in the appropriate forum.
plum70rt, thanks for the compliment!... I use a full cup of each every day (sometimes i skip a day or so due to busy schedule)...and for now, I manually dose.. I am trying to set up an auto doser, but the unit i got from ---- has given me a hard time.. I've sent the 2nd unit back and waiting on a third. Its furstrating to say the lease. That, and feeding is the only thing i do manually.
For feeding, I mix up some dry flake, some pellets, some frozen foods (all different kinds) and some fish roe. I also dose a capful of DT's every other day too... When i dose the DT's, I shut off the pumps, and drop it right on top of the clam... let it sit for 10 minutes or so, and then turn on the pumps so my other corals can get their fill of the DT's.
stillfrodo, I am sure your tank will look just as good, if not better. Just listen to the people on this board...thats where i got the best advice!!! and take your time! my tank didnt really take off until i stopped messin with it....give it time.. and the beauty will come before your eyes.

waterfaller1 thinks its a "stomatella..varia..I think..."... from my research months ago, that seems correct, but i havent done any further research on it..... whatever it is, it seems not to be bothering anything in my tank.. and i just leave it be....... maybe Bang Guy or another knowledgable one will see this post and confirm it.
But!..i leave things be even if people say its bad for a tank... I have a few aptasias and even a scary harry crab..
but he looks cool.. and so do my aptasia
