What is a good book for reef keeping?I know these things can be expensive, but if it helps save a few corals then it pays for itself! Is there "a bible" for reef keeping,so to speak?I don't have any problems with my tank,I'm just looking to have a good reference guide. When I had salt tanks about 20 years ago the books then were not too good.I still have one or two and when you see how far the hobby has gone since then it is amazing!

Check the dry good section of the store to the left. They have a list of titles on hand, many are good, and its better to have a selection than just one.

I would add Anthony Calfo's book of coral propogation in there as well. He covers a ton of different ways to run a reef tank and take care of corals plus it is a fun read!!

Jullian Sprungs coral book is also a good reference for names and id's It will give you ideas on what they eat, placing, and water flow, etc. etc. Keep in mind its a very loose reference and his recommendations for everything in there are probably better taken at the upper end of the recommendation. If you look through the book you'll understand what i mean.
