It's bubble algae. It doesn't hurt anything other than can be an eyesore and really really hard to get rid of. Pop one and you get a bunch more. If you can pull them out without breaking them you're best off. Also sucking them up in a siphon is a good way to go.

thanks, i guess ill just take my snake to it and suck that stuff out. i just have that one little spot about 1 inch tall i would hate for it to spread.

Nothing effective.
Emerald crabs may... if its small but not effective IMO
My emerald cleared my bubble algae but then again it was still pretty small.
I heard they can pop the bigger ones and creat more of a mess, no experience with that thought. I was lucky! Good luck.
