i am still kinda new at this reef thing, just thought i would put up a pic, any comments are welcome, good or bad. like i said im new and learning more and more every day. so far i love it. jay

Jay- Looks awesome so far. I love the way you mounted in flush with the wall. Is the access in a closest or another room on the other side? I just setup a 72 Bow and am waiting on live rock that should be here today
I have a long way to go but getting excited.
Are you going to do some corals in there? Looks sweet man.

That looks really good for no corals! You would think a tank with no corals would be ugly like most of them I see! But yours is not! The way you described I thought I was about to be looking at some beat up tank with only one rock in it! You should be prould of that tank!!! Great job!!!!

Not all tanks that don't have coral are ugly!! These are some old pics but look at this thread..... https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/293423/my-progress-please-comment
Since then I've added things, changed the look and have had alot of coralline growth.
Jayinh.....it looks great!!! Good for you!!! Keep up the good work.

Jay, the tank looks great! was the 55 you had in there a salt tank or was it fresh water? So where abouts do you live in NH. I am also from NH and I know of a really great LFS you could check out maybe. Its an awesome store and has a lot of salt water fish and a ton of corals. If you are interested I can give you the website for the store. Keep up the good work you are going to have an GREAT tank someday!

I live near New London. What lfs do you go to? I was going to pm you but you dont have it available. we cant post websites here but if you google plymouth pet and aquarium you should find the website. I have been to a lot of lfs around and this place is the best, they have a bunch of saltwater fish and a ton of corals from softys to sps. I think its kind of far from you but its worth a visit.
how long have you had your tank set up?

Wow, more people from NH. I'm from the Lebanon area and I really like Plymouth as well. I think they are the best LFS in NH. Let me know if either of you want to do some trading.

great, I was hoping to find some more NH people. rs1831 Lebanon is not very far from me at all. If you have any frags you would like to sell just let me know, it would really save of shipping cost. I had to take my tank down about a year ago and have just started back up so I do not have much for corals as of yet but dont worry once I get going I do like to trade a lot.
the Lebanon pet store is nice but expensive and they dont seem to have a large coral selection, I know there is another store up there but I havent been there in a long time.

it looks nice. one thing i would suggest- install access doors above the tank so you can put your hands in from the front. you'll be glad you did.
