The randall stays outside one of the many caves the pistol made for them. He doesn't feed his shrimp that i have ever seen, and he doesn't have a large appetite. The shrimp sneaks out and grabs any food that lands on the sand near his cave, but he only does that if his goby is also out, never alone. You can hear the pistol someimes at night snapping, but its not real loud.
