hello
i have started thinking about the qt of fish and realize i have aproblem!
i will be setting up a 20 gallon QT and i will be takinh water fromt he 30 gallon to make it so it dosent cycle
well i was going to leave my tang in there till i could introduce all my fish and having the tang be the last fish well i thought th if i take the 20 of the 30 gallons for a qt then where is the tank gonna go?
so what do i do? i want an angel and knoe they can be aggressive (flame)
what do i do let the flame intot he tank and skip QT the only time i promise!!! and let it establish terrotory wich all my other fis in the tank then bring in the yellow from the 30 gllon then set upt he qt after all fish form the 30 are gone :help: :help:
thanx have a good night

The most aggressive fish should go into the main tank last. You can put your tang into the main tank and QT the angel. You don't want the angel gaining territory first.
Don't skip the QT.
Also, slow down your typing..it was tricky figuring out whether you actually meant tang or tank.

Sorry, it doesn't usually bother me and I meant NO offense, but when you need to know whether to move the tang or the tank..or tank or tang...

Don't add all your fishes at once. Wait a few weeks apart before adding any new inhabitants - usually every 2 - 3 weeks. Safer to introduce add every 3 weeks IMO.
