A Quick Light Question! What about this set up?

have a 60 gallon tank with about 60lb os live rock, bunch of snails, crabs, a a few damsels.
have a cpr skimmer and two powerheads...
i am thinking about getting this light set up so that i can get some corals froma friend....
the cost is about $560.
OPINIONS PLEASE!

You will have roughly 6.6 watts per gallon. That should be ok as long as your tank does not exceed 18 inches in depth. If you decide to have certain corals or clams they may need to be set a little higher than the sand bed.

you can get a 250w retro for cheaper than that... imo id pass on that

i've been doing lots of pricing for pre-built units and I must say that seems a little high for the amount of light you are getting.
I am no expert on high end lighting though.

The only reason why I think its that high is because the bulbs come with the fixture. I bought a Jalli 36" duel 150 watt halide DE, HQI with 2 T5 and everything else but the bulbs for the same price. I would worry about buying just the fixture first because you can find all types of great prices for bulbs after. I mean what if they give you cheapy fake 96 watt blues for your fixture or something not of your liking for your tank. Just something to think about.
